Christmas Quilt

This wall hanging was made with the Blank Christmas line for 2011.  I absolutely love the cottage scene.

Pinwheel

This crazy pinwheel block was all sewn together as 10" squares with a border.  Then using a template that is tilted, the squares were cut again and reassembled.  Most of my friends in our stitch group have made one, also.  Mine is mostly dots!

Drunkard's Path

Our guild's block of the month this year was drunkard's path.  We were to use only fabric from our stash.  The backgrounds are from my stash.  The circles are discontinued from Glenn's Blank fabric samples.

Strips

This was made from a Blank textiles jelly roll.  Quick, easy, and cute.  The reds are prettier in person.  The light must not have been perfect for the picture.

Dragonflies and Snails

This was the first time that I found a quilt pattern in a magazine and purchased eveything I need brand new.  It was tons of fun!  My friend Janie made one at the same time with different fabrics.  We had fun doing it together.  Then, our friend, Arlene, made one in black, white and red.  We're going to enter all of them in our guild's quilt show in March.

Blue and White

Last year, 2010, the guild block of the month challenge was to use only your stash and 1/2 square triangles.  There was only one logical color way for me--blue and white.

Sunbonnet Sue and Sam.

Blocks were made by my wonderful friendship group in California.

Pattern: Oopsie Daisy by Darlene Zimmerman.

Blocks made by my friends in the Olathe Quilters Guild and set together by my friends on the board.  It was made for me the two years that I was president, 2009-2010.  Glenn quilted it with a pantograph called Garden Patch.  It hangs proudly in my dining room!  size = 98 x 98

Architectural Gem.

Made with discarded fabric samples from Glenn's job with Blank Textiles.  I don't think the picture really does it justice.  All my kids really like it, too.  Glenn quilted it with a pantograph that has a southwest feeling.  size = 84 x 90

Bear's Paw

This bear's paw quilt was one of the early quilts the I made.  Glenn chose the pattern and the colors.  He also quilted it.

Stained Glass

This was my venture into paper piecing.  I thought that if I liked it, I would make a whole quilt.  Well, I love the results, but the time it takes probably means that a larger one may be part of my retirement quilting.  I do love the stained glass look.  size = 57 x 57
